Our Catechists

Posted by admin on August - 25 - 2013

Volunteer catechists (teachers) and classroom aides provide classroom instruction. From the National Directory for Catechesis: “The call to the ministry of catechist is a vocation, an interior call, the voice of the Holy Spirit. “Please prayerfully consider whether the Holy Spirit is calling to you to teach our Faith.

We thank those special individuals who enthusiastically instruct the children of our parish. Please call the Religious Education office at 630-892-9507 or call Rae Eigenhauser to volunteer to teach!

Catechist training classes are offered through the Aurora Deanery for catechists to enhance their knowledge of the faith. Check back frequently for updated class schedules.
